ABOUT LONGRIDGE SOAP BOX DERBY

We are absolutely thrilled that St Catherine’s Hospice will be the owners and beneficiaries of the Longridge SoapBox Derby 2024 and that the funds raised will go towards helping this much-loved, local charity provide personalised care for patients, and their families, in the local area.

The Love Longridge team will be supporting St Catherine’s Hospice by acting as delivery partners for this event. Love Longridge, now in their second year of organising this incredible, colourful event, have been working incredibly hard behind the scenes to ensure that the Longridge Soapbox Derby is another full day of fun-packed activities - even more so in 2024. After 2022’s and 2023'3 phenomenally successful events, we expect to attract up to 7,500 people from Longridge and surrounding areas.

Check out the video below and see what we got up to at Longridge Soapbox Derby 2022.

Crash of the Day

Take a look at the crash of the day from the Longridge Soap Box Derby 2022. A crash that went viral and one where nobody was hurt.

CHARITY PARTNERSHIP

In 2022 the Love Longridge team raised £6,661 from the Soap Box Derby for local charity LCA. A contribution that will go back into the community of Longridge.

This was then followed by the 2023 where our charity partnership was St Catherines Hospice, which saw last years race raise £25,000 for the charity.
